About the Speaker:

Joel Block, CPA, CSP is a long-time venture capitalist and hedge fund manager (gobbledygook for professional investor) who lives in a Shark Tank world like what you see on TV. Companies regularly pitch ideas to Joel’s company, looking for business capital so he has learned to spot likely winners – frequently in 3 minutes or less and sometimes in under 30 seconds.

He has been speaking on business and financial topics for 15+ years and as a money business insider, Joel has put together more than 40 different companies; he has advised hundreds more and he has taught thousands of people innovative ways to think about profit, leadership, and sales. He has had a few successful exits too, including one that he sold to a Fortune 500. Joel is a media guest and regular speaker on Wall Street and in Silicon Valley sharing monetary strategies with the nation’s financial elite.

Joel’s understanding of business building is evidenced by how artfully he breaks down complex topics so his audiences can understand them. About the Venue:

Our monthly Chapter Meetings and all MeetUps take place at UBS | Wealth Management, 1285 Avenue of the Americas, New York, NY 10019 located between 51st and 52nd Streets (near Radio City Music Hall and the Broadway Theater District). The building is connected to the Rockefeller Center underground complex containing the B/D/F/Q subway lines, as well as many restaurants and stores. Nearby subway lines include the N/R at 49th St. and 7th Ave. and the 1/9 at Broadway and 50th St

Tickets must be purchased by 11:55 pm two days prior to the event. No WALK INS are possible. Please bring I.D. and check in.

Important Deadline:

No walk ins are possible. You must buy your ticket 48 hours prior to the event.

Membership Ticket:

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Requests for refunds must be made a least one week before registration for the event closes by using the contact form. After that time, you may send a replacement if you notify us and send first name, last name and e-mail address of the person who will join us 48 hours prior to the event via the contact form. Discounted All-Access-Pass chapter event tickets can not be refunded. All-Access-Pass holders can not send a replacement, instead they will receive audio recordings of each chapter event.
