Featured Guest Speaker:

Chris is the owner and key videographer of Video Narrative, a production company that specializes in growing speaking businesses through brand clarity, speaker demo reels, and website design. He helps speakers and business owners tell their story in a way that connects with their audiences and generates income.
The origin of Chris’ narrative work came in a neurobiology class, where he first learned the power of story for organizing information in the mind. Completing this research one May afternoon, he resolved never to create another video without telling an authentic story…a commitment that leads to years of research on the way we connect, learn, and grow through stories.
Today Chris works alongside thought leaders to increase their message, clarity, and impact through powerful narratives. When not creating videos, Chris is out backpacking with his wife and daughter and serves as the volunteer director of the Bukesa Children’s Home in Uganda, Africa.
Program Description:
How to Grow Your Speaking Business with Video
If the best way to connect with your audience on stage is through a story, why should your video marketing be any different?

Meeting planners are the same as any other audience: they will choose the speaker that leaves them with a lasting impression. So what stories are your current marketing videos telling?
Drawing from years of experience as a video producer, storyteller, and consultant, Chris will share practical ways to transform your current speaker videos into invaluable, revenue-producing tools.

  • Learn how to build Brand Distinction in their speaking business.

  • Learn how to turn that distinction into powerful narratives that generate consistent bookings.

  • Learn industry-proven strategies for outbound marketing using their videos.

Member Insights: Everything you wanted to know about TEDx* (and aren’t afraid to ask)…

TEDx talks are the new gold standard for speakers… or are they? Should you do one? Why? How do you get one? Is it worth it? These are just a few of the questions that Tamsen Webster, former executive producer of the oldest TEDx event in the world, will answer in this rapid-fire session.
Meet Tamsen Webster. She’s part keynote speaker, part message strategist — and all about building big ideas. She combined 20 years in marketing, 13 years as a Weight Watchers leader, and four years as a TEDx Executive Producer into a simple way to change how people see, and what they do as a result. It’s called The Red Thread™, and it’s what makes your Big Ideas even bigger than you think.
