After being on the speaking circuit for a short period of time Walter Bond has already graced the main stage at NSA. He is now making his rounds teaching at various NSA chapter events sharing his speaking secrets. Bond says it is all in the fundamentals. “I learned in the NBA how to become a real pro.” There is difference between a professional speaker and a professional who speaks, and Bond aims to show us the difference. About the Speaker:

For nearly two decades, Walter Bond speaker and trainer has been a premiere expert on peak performance in business and teamwork. Walter’s mastery in two different global industries has made him an authority on peak performance. Walter has delivered his entertaining and dynamic message to companies and associations throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, the Caribbean and Europe. Clients include Accenture, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, The Dwyer Group, Allianz, Amway, GNC, Hilton, Medtronic, UPS Store, Radio Shack, Red Robin and many national associations.

Walter’s passion for personal development has been anchored by his professional basketball career. Although a reserve throughout his college basketball career at the University of Minnesota (BA Communications), Bond miraculously enjoyed an eight-year career while spending time as a shooting guard for teams such as the Dallas Mavericks, Utah Jazz and Detroit Pistons. This is where he learned peak performance truths that he has also applied to a wildly successful speaking career.

Walter has been inducted in to the speakers’ hall of fame by the National Speakers Association. Bond has authored two books, All Buts Stink and The Off-season for Financial Advisors. Debuted when he was the opening keynote for the Million Dollar Round Table, the top 2% of advisors/agents in the world.
Bond’s college basketball career did not say NBA at all. Only hard work, dedication and commitment got him there. That mentality is what he wants to share with your audience. About the Venue:

Our monthly Chapter Meetings and all MeetUps take place at Microsoft’s New York office building. Tickets must be purchased by 11:55 pm two days prior to the event. No WALK INS are possible. Please bring I.D. and check in at the Microsoft Concierge. Subways to 11 Times Square (between 41st and 42nd Streets on 8th Avenue, next to Port Authority Bus Terminal) are 1, 2, 3, 7, A, E, N, and Q trains at all times, or C and R trains at all times except late nights.

Important Deadline:

No walk ins are possible. You must buy your ticket 48 hours prior to the event.

Membership Ticket:

If you are a member of the NSA NYC chapter, please log in with your username and password. Buy a general ticket and your membership discount will automatically be applied on the check out page.

Cancellation and Refund Policy:

Requests for refunds must be made a least one week before registration for the event closes by using the contact form. After that time, you may send a replacement if you notify us and send first name, last name and e-mail address of the person who will join us 48 hours prior to the event via the contact form. Discounted All-Access-Pass chapter event tickets can not be refunded. All-Access-Pass holders can not send a replacement, instead they will receive audio recordings of each chapter event.
