Making Money Beyond the Keynote: Strategies to Grow Your Speaking Business as a Coach, Consultant, and Trainer with Anton Gunn

If you are a first time guest to our chapter meetings, you can use our discount code at checkout to attend at no cost. Discount Code: FIRSTNSANYC

Your future financial success as a speaker is only as strong as your ability to execute a sound business strategy. The impact of COVID19 and the economic downturn has disrupted the meeting and event industry, making “the keynote speech” an insufficient approach to growing a sustainable business. In the middle of these changing times, some speakers decided to retire from the speaking industry. At the same time, other speakers have figured out how to use these changing times to build profitable coaching, consulting, and training businesses well beyond their keynote speech. In this session, we will explore three revenue streams that can take your business from the bottom to the top without leaving your house.

    Attendees Will Learn:
    – Why this is the perfect time to expand your business beyond the keynote
    – The differences between coaching, consulting, and training
    – How to inventory your expertise for coaching, consulting, and training opportunities
    – Strategies to get your first coaching, consultant, or training client
    – How to think about pricing/fees for these services differently than a keynote

Pat Dwyer is your most engaging route to people-driven results. As a keynote speaker, emcee, creative consultant, and humorist, Pat brings a unique blend of energy, insight, and humor to every audience he serves. Over the past 15 years, he has performed, toured, and taught with renowned institutions such as The Second City, iO Theater, ComedySportz, and Mi Productions.

His work helps organizations rediscover the joy and effectiveness that come from embracing positivity and connection in day-to-day practices.

Today, Pat channels these lessons into high-impact, high-energy keynotes, workshops, and sessions that inspire everyone—from the C-suite to the front line—to approach each day with excitement, resilience, and a playful drive toward achieving their goals. Every speaker today is confronting audiences that want or have to change, but are resistant to it. We share incredible content that energizes rooms, but how do we get them to truly buy-in and say YES! By using the Innovation Storytelling method, speakers can pitch their own programs and get their audiences to envision a new future without fear.  Participants will learn how to tell better stories that engage and align key stakeholders, get audiences on board with their vision, and deliver maximum, lasting impact.

    The audience will leave with:

    - A clear understanding of how to get other people on board with their breakthrough ideas.

    - A blueprint for creating stories that inspire any audience into action.

    - A process that empowers them to communicate with confidence.
